A lot of love for this book. Puzzled by reviews that implied that 17 was not a child and wouldn't be treated like a child by their parents. Enjoyed the overlap of Lipan Apache origin stories with other cultural stories and legends, such as the faery rings and Icarus. Loved the mushroom portal. Book club members liked When A Snake Falls to Earth better, but really hoping this author will keep writing because they are so great and we Love ace/aro representation!
