The childrens books restriction applies to books tagged "childrens", "kids", or similar things such as "Middle Grade" or "Young Readers". As long as none of those appear on your chosen book alongside YA, Young Adult is fine.

If I read the Kindle edition of The Likeness (which has 470 pages), when posting in the Completed Tasks thread should I post the link to the top MMPB Comme Deux Gouttes D'eau which has 571 pages? Either edition should meet the requirements of the task, but I am just unclear about which edition is the one that I should post when claiming the task.
Thanks!

If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.
Use the top edition result to determine the page number for ebooks and audiobooks
It says nothing about that book being a foreign title (at least foreign to me).
I am sending a message to the mods for their ruling. Hold on.

I couldn't find a hard and fast rule. However, as the rules say that eBooks have to be verified as described above, and the posting requirements state you must link to the edition you read, I'd say you need to include both in your task claim post.
It's pretty common to see posts in the following format (or similar):
In the Woods (Kindle edition).
Top MMPB here.
The language of the print edition doesn't matter, as shown in the example above.
Hope that helps!

Oh well, the next book in that series easily fits in other places, but I found it hugely entertaining that I went at it backwards without even trying that hard.

For some reason I could not wrap my head around the decade of the '40's, and decided to devote this task to the number 40 itself.
No children's books. Your book must be at least 250 pages.
Choose one of the following options.
Required: state the option.
Option 1. The year I was 40 I had a 5 year old. I had a husband who worked 12 hour afternoons. Needless to say it was a a tiring year.
Read a book that has at least 2 of the following numbers in it's page count: 0, 1, 2, 4, 5. The two digits you use must be different (i.e. you cannot use 300, with 0 appearing twice).
Option 2. Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves is a folk tale from the One Thousand and One Nights. It was added to the collection in the 18th century by its French translator Antoine Galland, who heard it from Syrian storyteller Hanna Diyab. Read a Folklore book from the first 25 pages of this list: /shelf/show/...
Required: State the list page where the book was found.
Option 3. Forty is the only number in the English language whose letters appear in alphabetical order. Read a book by an author whose initials are consecutive alphabetically. You may ignore the middle initial. Examples: Julia Kelly , A.J. Baime.
