Jeff Lemire and Gabriel Walta's Sentient was really good.

So were Ascender and Descender by Lemire and Dustin Nguyen.

highly recommended, it's new plot by the wonderful Jonathan Hickman.

Invisible Republic, Vol. 1

Star Trek vol 1 Godshock & Defiant vol 1. Both of these runs are excellent reads for trekkies.

I just read The Hard Switch by Owen D. Pomery which was a pretty fun space romp
