Welcome! I hope you have a great reading year. I really like both Daniel Defoe and Daphne du Maurier. They are authors I discovered due to this group. Have fun!
I hoped that The Last of the Mohicans would have won our recent poll, it might have been the nudge I needed. It's been on my shelf way too long. I agree with Lynn, Defoe and du Maurier are worth reading. Have a good year.

I really enjoyed this one - for the first 4/5 of the book. The ending left me wanting more. I felt like the conclusion was different than I wanted / needed. The very final scene is exactly what I expected and it makes sense in the whole scheme of things. The build- up to the finale left me a little disappointed.
Overall, a 4 start rating.

Nice to see the progress, Shawn. Like Wobbley, I hope you are having a lot of fun with the reading.
