MM, have you seen The Howling movies?

I have not! Are they good? i've heard of the howling but have never read or seen the movies

Just finished CH 7. I really like the story so far, it has kept my interest.

I do not like the husband... like seriously. Just doesn't seem supportive of his wife at all. (view spoiler)[It's only been two months since everything, get over yourself Roy (hide spoiler)]

In the movie he is an even bigger butthead.

I did not realize there was going to be a rape trigger in this book. There is not in the movie and I did not bother to read the blurb since I thought I knew the story.

I have enjoyed the writing style and have found it to be a very quick read. I have already purchased the next two books in the series. Thank you Kindle for enabling my ability to impulse shop!

I am up to chapter 15. Roy is the WORST HUSBAND EVER. (view spoiler)[ In the beginning of chapter 9 he was described as "He did not like surprises, and he did not like conflicts." The thing is he just wanted a relationship that was easy and required no effort. The minute Karyn experienced the trauma of the rape, that relationship was over. (hide spoiler)]

Totally agree. Just started chapter 16.
The minute that it got hard or into a deeper level (mentally, emotionally, psychologically tolling) he looks somewhere else or I should say (view spoiler)[ to someone else. But, I have a feeling theres more to Marcia Lura (hide spoiler)]

I thoroughly enjoyed the story. And just bought the second book 🫣

Well, I have been holding back, but I'll finish it in the next couple days.

And...... I'm done. I thought the ending was a little abrupt. The story might have benefited with a little more "meat on the bone!"
