yes! I think it would be fun to see the other person’s annotations and to see if I’d annotate the same thing
I have bought that kind of book and I've also donated books with my own notes.
No I wouldn't. Here in Sweden those kind of books doesn't even reach the shelf in thrift stores do they are deemed damaged.
depends on how the annotations look. Can I still read the text with ease? Is it intruding too far into the text for notes or can I work around them and enjoy them at my leisure?
Of course! It would be super cool to see that person's insights while reading, it'd def make the book more precious not less

for sure! i like hearing the opinions of others!
As an Author and teacher I feel it would go against my nature as a lover of writing and a lover of teaching lit and writing to not appreciate others comments.
