Yes, I liked the Gap Cycle too when I read it, although it has been years and years. I did a Thomas Covenant reread in preparation for the latest iteration (the last chronicles), but then read the first two books...then had to wait for the last two to be published and so have kind of stalled out on them. They are so dark...I will read them eventually, but I find I do have to be in a certain mood. I do remember that when I did my reread of the first and second chronicles that The One Tree stood out as a really first class book among them. Funny how that happens when you read things decades apart. :)

Justine (justine_ao) | 631 comments I just finished Touch by Claire North, which I highly recommend to anyone who liked the other book she wrote under that pen name, The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August. I'm now reading The Girl in the Road before I start House of Chains with the Malazan reading group.
