Azolla Books | 2 comments Hi folks,

How do you manage to promote your book online? Do you use tools like booklaunch.io or prefer DIY using tools like Wordpress?

Look forward to hearing more options and advice.

Azolla Books | 2 comments Author fellows,

In order for authors to promote their books, I'm thinking to build a book promotion page.

Basically the idea is the page is for promoting your book, which will have:
- book title,
- author bio,
- book cover (ideally 3D),
- excerpts/highlights/quotes,
- reviews and ratings
- social networking elements like Twitter tweets, Facebook likes and comments.

Most importantly, I think for authors, is the
- quick payment,
- pre-order,
- subscription, and etc.

And it must be mobile friendly.

How do you think?

H.B. Lyne (hblyne) | 4 comments Coming to this a bit late, but yes, I use Booklaunch. I also have a wordpress blog (but I am planning to move it and self-host it to future-proof it).

I haven't seen Booklaunch get me any sales yet though, so am considering ending my subscription and hosting landing pages on my website. I absolutely love the look of my Booklaunch pages, but at £8/month that isn't earning me any money it doesn't seem a wise investment.

I'll see what happens after book 3 comes out.

Paul Luiso | 1 comments H.B. - Have you linked your Booklaunch page to other places your books are being sold? Posted in a Facebook group? Tweeted about them? I'm trying to decide if Booklaunch is for me. The homepage of their site makes it sound good, but I'd like some first hand testimonials. I've tried using wordpress to build a website but I just can't get it to do what I want it to and the forums are no real help. Thanks.
