Hannah | 3099 comments I’m not quite sure why I had this book on my TBR, as although I loved Coming Home by this author, this book is not the type of book I gravitate towards. The book was written in the 1980s, and I don’t think it aged particularly well. It wasn’t terrible, but I just felt that the book plodded along. I didn’t really care for the characters, who were often one-dimensional, or the plot, but the writing wasn’t bad. It is the type of book that I would probably take to the beach, read it quickly over a couple of days, and then forget about it almost straight away.

EXTRAS: Team: Sassy Sisterhood. Extra read for “P. Matches tag x 8

Robin P | 5333 comments I read it back in those times and found it engaging and romantic. I was maybe less picky in my tastes then.

It reminded me a bit of the type of book that would be made into a Hallmark film, so your description of it fits perfectly!
