this year i've read mostly classics, that's why i wanted to read more queer books next month! but for genre, i really like anything as long as the story is compelling.

message 4: by Sai :) (new)

Sai :) Mishra (the climate catastrophe is real) Pretty much same, but there are some genres I prefer more than others. Do you guys want to choose a queer book or just any random book you would like to discuss? We can sort through our t-read shelves and find something really good.

DSS (pandorasbox_08) | 46 comments Random book to discuss.

(My suggestion is It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover)

oohh i've heard a lot about the 1st book that's a great suggestion

message 14: by Sai :) (new)

Sai :) Mishra (the climate catastrophe is real) I've never even heard of that series but almost everyone I follow wants to read it, and it seems pretty good. Kiss Her Once For Me also seems nice.

Sea ~drowning~ (sea15) | 51 comments I can definitely vouch for Kiss her once for me and Written in the stars. loved them both to pieces!!

message 16: by Sea (new)

Sea ~drowning~ (sea15) | 51 comments oh!!! I have wanted to read the Cerulean series!! If we decide on that then YAYY!

message 17: by Sea (new)

Sea ~drowning~ (sea15) | 51 comments (okay, hoomans the app doesn't allow one to respond to one message yeah? so how do you all do that? ~ I know it's very off topic :///) And! Anjo, give me recommendations for classics? Recently I have been a lot into queer books (especially sapphic, uff) and same. If the story is compelling, I would definitely give it a go.

YES the app doesn't, i need to go to the browser version to respond a comment individually😭
Sea if you want to start classic literature i definitely recommend any of Kafka's short stories, especially "The Metamorphosis" and "In the Penal Colony", these two changed me as a person

message 20: by Sea (new)

Sea ~drowning~ (sea15) | 51 comments Uff, if the Cerulean series is chosen then DEF count me in.
