**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. Ebook page count will be acceptable if no Kindle page count available. The acceptability of other page counts will be made on an individual basis.**
Please note that a rating is now required in your completion posts! A small review is also welcome. 😊

Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though. I will use the team leader as a point of contact if needed.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.
PS - If you want to be known as anything other than Team 2, you are free to come up with a team name. 😉

I'm Vi, I live in Netherlands. I have 2 kids (10 and 5) and just started working after 5 years. I read regularly and I'm trying out audiobooks now since I drive to work. I read mostly romance, most subgenres excluding RH, Mafia and Dark. Haven't been able to get to them.
We need 1. team names 2. captain. We should also discuss some things in advance like sub-genre etc so that we can start reading when we get specific categories.

I read most romance subgenres - especially mystery, contemporary, and historical.
Team name ideas:
Readers on the Run
Tales on Fire
Book Blitzers
Tale Turtles
Booked for Speed
The Fast and the Fictional

About reading, I like a book any book that have a plot to attract me... But not so much those centered on the erotic part and plot 0 .... In the working days I may delay finishing my book falling asleep without finishing my book 🙈

I'm from Toronto so est timezone, but work a lot of nights and hockey (NHL) started so it's about to take up a lot of my reading time.
"The Fast and the Fictional" made me laugh. I like that one.
Does someone want to volunteer to be captain? Otherwise, I don't mind jumping in.

I'd agree these are the big names we all have in common. Or name any popular historical romance author and most of us have read them.
I looked to see if there were any contemporary authors and Elle Kennedy was the only one that stood out.

50. Read 6 books set in the same location, teams decide the location -> Does this mean city, country?

Task 1 - 0. Read a book that is MPG Paranormal or a books that has both black and orange on the cover, teams decide.
October is wonderful in many ways - fall weather, football, pumpkin spice and especially Halloween! As a team decide whether you will read books that are MPG Paranormal or books with both black and orange on the cover, then each teammate reads a book that matches the team’s decision. To qualify as MPG (main page genre), on the main page of the book under the precis, there is a section that says "Genres". Anything listed under that section is counted as an MPG. You may use anything that shows when you click 'more', but not if you click 'show all'. For books to qualify under the cover color option, both black and orange need to be on the cover. The selected covers do not have to be primarily black and/or orange, but both colors must be present on the cover. You can use any edition’s cover to qualify your book. If in doubt, please ask.

Task 1: Read a book that is MPG Paranormal or a books that has both black and orange on the cover, teams decide.

Manners and Monsters
Pages: 320
How it fits: MPG Paranormal
Date completed: Oct 14
Review:
3.5 stars
It's a cozy little murder mystery, but there is a lot of self-loathing in this and I really didn't like the way Hannah's mom seemed to brush her off when she expressed her loneliness. Still, the mystery is decent, the characters are very YA, and I didn't mind it at all.

My first book by this author and I'm not impressed. The FMC is basically a doormat, the MMC too dominating. I won't be continuing the series.
