Christabelle (christabelleallestad) | 146 comments It is actually pretty chilly here. We had such blustery weather our yard looks like the aftermath of a ticker tape parade. The colors are beautiful though so I won’t complain too much!

Anyone else feel like their reading is suffering? I forgot how busy this time of year is!

I am working on Walk On by Ben Malcolmson. It’s been a lovely pick-me-up as it is an inspirational read. I haven’t had much heart for anything but fiction lately, but this hits a nice middle ground.

Anyone have anything lined up? How y’all doing on your challenges?

Ian | 87 comments For me, work and church rev up which means less free time. So, yes, less reading for me

I am done with the 104 categories though. So easy and fun reading now... Well, except for the non-fiction I choose to read.

Beth Stel | 32 comments Weather-wise, we're enjoying a couple of days with temps well above normal. Like in the low twenties (Celsius) and my daughter is wearing shorts to school, when we usually are around 10 degrees.
Reading-wise, I got myself out of my slump in October. I need to read 12 more books this year to meet my goal for this challenge and 18 books to read 100 this year. I'm currently reading six and four of those will fulfil prompts for this VT challenge.
Currently reading: Poetry: A Longman Pocket Anthology for a book of poetry, I Must Betray You, a novel for young adults, Hope and Comfort in the Book of Job for either a book about suffering or a commentary on a book of the Bible and 12 Ways Your Phone is Changing You for Christian living.
I have a large stack of books that fit remaining prompts so I'll choose my next reads out of that.

Sara Hester | 29 comments I started back to school as a student in late August. I'm learning Spanish and it has eaten up all of my reading time. I won't make the full 104 categories. Hopefully, the books that I purchased for certain categories will work for next years challenge.

Ian | 87 comments Well, November is over. The final stretch is upon us.

Best: License Invoked by Robert Lynn Asprin and Jodi Lynn Nye. Who do you call on to protect a famous musician who claims to be curse from the UK and touring the US? Bippity Boobity Bureau under the FBI and WOOPSI with MI 5! This is a laugh as the 2 mismatch agents try ensure the safety of their charge and figure out who is doing the cursing.

Worse: The Annual Migration of Cloud by Premee Mohamed. Post-Apocalyptic coming of age that got very preachy.

Surprise: The Booklover's Library by Madeline Martin. The variety of topics covered in this book was shocking. Set in the Battle of Britain, the main character tries to raise her daughter beyond the death of her husband by working in a bookshop.
