I set an achievable goal of 36 books but I fell seriously behind.

I've caught up bit and have just finished book 21.I want to make a record so I can push myself a bit harder.

I'll fully fill out the books I have read so far and why later.

Salt & Broom was my first book of the year - chosen from Amazon first reads (the first I've read out of the many I've chosen) . Based on Jane Eyre I was surprised how much I enjoyed this light read. **** start to the year (7/10)

Booker Prize List
Western Lane was a good solid start to the list and I predominately listened to this one. There were parts I wanted to read which is the sign of a good book. **** but a higher rating than S&B (8/10)

And Then She Fell was a bit bizarre but another interesting cultural insight from the list. This book will stay with me for a while for a number of reasons. I will look out for this author in the future. **** and higher in my memory than Western Lane
