I wanted to get a little background on Kafka before a museum exhibit featuring him, so I decided to read one of his greater known works. It was a quick read, but I can't say I enjoyed it... not because of the writing style or topic, but because I found every character somewhat distasteful. And maybe that was the point of the story. Will have to read other works to see if I feel the same.
