Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments Yep, some of them are going to take some hunting

message 8: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Hi Mel 👋 this is going to keep us both busy

message 9: by Melindam (last edited Dec 12, 2024 05:11AM) (new)

Melindam | 4405 comments We had fun putting it together. 🤭

And we left the challenge open-ended on purpose, so people can read at their own pace. No rush. 😊

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments Klare check you can access the spreadsheet, then a bit of planning at the end of the month and were good to go :)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Ok I will look now

message 14: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments I’m in that worked

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments Klare wrote: "I’m in that worked"

Great!!

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments Hey, I wont update message 2 until we finish all the tasks.
I have just seen one I've put for MPG Family also works for dictionary, so make sure you look at the final column to see if any covers the empty tasks and I can move!

message 17: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Okay will do

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments Klare dictionary is in Onyx Storm which came out on Tuesday. My copy is at home waiting for my arrival home later.
Are you happy to wait for me to finish it likely over the weekend or start of next week or have you found anything that fits that or Family MPG that we can shuffle around?

message 19: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments No rush, I found another true story to take that one as it was easier to find than dictionary. I haven’t started yet as I picked up the new James Patterson from the library. I won’t get started on mine till Friday evening or Saturday Morn so just stick with these ??

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments Okay perfect. I asked in the q and a if we can start reading for the next set whilst we’re finishing up the books for the current.
Will see what the answer is

message 21: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments Yes we can, so if either of us are still reading for either dictionary or non fic, the other can start on the new set, we just can’t finish it. Will look see if anything I’m planning next week works for anything

message 23: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Okay, I’ll take a look at the next set and start planning this evening. Shall we pop our names on any we can deffo do like last time ?

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments Yeah sounds good, gives us somewhere to start

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments I’m half way through the last task, trying hard to get it done quickly. Remember don’t finish anything youre using for the second set before I’m done, trust me to pick a 550 page book for the final task 😂

message 26: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments No worries, I’ve got one from the library that doesn’t fit the tasks so I’ll finish that one first and then start my ones for the second set.

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments Finally finished set one, we can start on set two :)

message 28: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Okay

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments I’ve found a book that works for Oxford. But I think you’ll be waiting a while for me to finish that and the university one. Is there one I should concentrate on more than the other?

message 30: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments No either is fine, I’ve got a few set in Oxford and I’m sure I must have something that could match university so take whichever works best for you.

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments Okay I’ll concentrate on uni as that’s off my shelves but have an Oxford from Libby if needed

message 32: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Okay

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments I’ve finished my last book for the 2nd set. Added my books to the 3rd set, I won’t finish anything until you’re finished and I’m at the start of all my current reads just now.

message 34: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Okay, I’m starting my last one for tab two tonight as I can’t finish bad seeds till Friday.

message 35: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments I’ve finish my last book in set 2.

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments That was quick! It was a chunky book wasn’t it?
I’ll get Dexter finished up then I saved 50 pages.
Will bring it tomorrow when I pick you up, you’ll enjoy it

message 37: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Yeah thought it was going to be like mortal instruments and I was going to love the series but it was just ok. We’re watching the The Big Bang from the beginning every evening but I’m multi tasking and reading all the way through. Finished SweatPea too. I stopped when they were at the airport so there was only like 20 pages to keep for the mini challenge. I’ll give you them back tomorrow.

message 38: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Finally got The Housemaid from the library today, my 'Witchcraft' book is about 80% finished so will probably get it started tomorrow.

message 39: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Finished The Housemaid this morning so that should be set 3 completed .

Gem ~ZeroShelfControl~ (zeroshelfcontrol) | 574 comments I’ve moved one of your set 4 books, mine only works for one thing and I’ll likely finish it today.

message 41: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments Ok

message 42: by Klare (new)

Klare (klare79) | 134 comments For the task “beautiful cover I googled and most have a repetitive pattern so think we could use my current book ?
