I think my big goal this year will just be trying to finish up a bunch of series I have on the go.

Good luck on finishing those series Gord. That's always one of my goals too... but I always end up adding new series every year so it's like my number never goes down. Lol

Here I am for the 3rd year getting manga recs lol I'm adding a few from your series to my tbr.

I want to focus on trying to clean up some series as I get distracted sometimes. Usually what happens is, I'll finish a book, realize that I have a ton of things already from the library and I'm not ready for the next one, and then forget to request the next one ever again.

My first update of the year and it has been a month of things

Best of the month?

Oh man, not counting reread I would say The Vanishing type and A Pirates Life for Tea on the novel side. On the manga side, Dandadan was a great read.

I think this is the first month that has leaned more towards novel then manga/comics in a very long time.

Nice to see more novels! Sometimes its a good change :)
Favourites of the month?

DCC was my favorite of the month, hands down. It's been a while since I devoured a novel like that. After that I'd say The Restaurant of Lost Recipes and Heroine? Saint? manga.

DCC was amazing so I was pretty sure that was going to be your favourite!

The inevitably hard question. I'd say either Carl or Wishsong of Shannara. There was a lot of solid books in that spread but those would probably be my pick for favorites.
