I re-read this last year, it's fun stuff. I was lucky enough to find another copy with the original illustrations, which adds a lot to the stories and charm of the book. Without them it's not as good IMO. Hope you all enjoy.

Oh, no! I traded him for the fourth potter book. Maybe her school will assign it. His teacher assigned the first and he couldn't stop after that.

I read it after a few kids in my life showed interest. It's a fun series about a brother and sister who are part of this mysterious and eclectic family that goes on a mad worldwide hunt (pitted against each other) to find a mysterious prize that their grandmother (or aunt or something) sent them to find in her will. It's a bit Da Vinci Code for kids.

Rotflmao! I just read the Big Toe to my 5 yr old and scared the crap out of him twice with both endings! Kids are soo gullible:)
