Simon & Schuster and Harlequin have come together to make book publishing history with the first ever multi-publisher author tour of regional Australia.

The Australian Voices in Print Tour will travel through NSW covering 11 towns from Bathurst to Lismore from May 24th to June 5th.

‘It’s an exciting project that will give readers in regional NSW the opportunity to meet their favourite authors and perhaps discover a new one. These authors are very different, but what they have in common is that they all write immensely appealing stories, with authentic and passionate Australian voices'.

Some people would think that being an IT coordinator, teacher, librarian, wife, mother and grandmother would be enough to fill your days yet somehow Tricia Stringer still finds the time to write. Queen of the Road was her first book with Harlequin and she is very excited that it went on to win the RWA Romantic Book of the Year for 2013 as well as be one of the 50 Books You Can’t Put Down in the 2013 Get Reading campaign. Tricia likes to create convincing characters in realistic situations. Her novels always have a rural setting and explore themes particular to Australian country life, which of course include romance - where would we be without a little romance in our lives! Her latest book, Riverboat Point, is her sixth rural romance.

Hurt on duty, Karen M. Davis retired from the New South Wales Police Force as a Detective Senior Constable after twenty years of service. From front-line policing to investigations and undercover operations Karen really has seen it all and draws on her experience in her crime fiction novels, Sinister Intent and Deadly Obsession.

When Jenn J. McLeod quit Sydney’s corporate communications chaos, she bought a little café in a small town and ran a unique, dog-friendly B&B in country NSW. Home now is a fifth wheeler caravan, her days spent writing heart-warming tales of Australian country life. Readers and reviewers alike enthusiastically received Jenn’s debut, House for all Seasons, placing it at #5 on the 2013 Nielsen’s Best Selling Debut Novel list. Season of Shadow and Light is the third book in her Seasons Collection, with a fourth Seasons Collection novel due in 2016.

Check to see if they are coming to a place near you!
