Beth | 15 comments I'd be grateful for recommendations too, I'm thinking about buying one but I'd like a thorough one

Kelly | 5 comments I've never read anything about Jon Benet, but it truly is a baffling case, isn't it? I'm reading a book right now (fiction, mystery) that makes reference to Jon Benet, and it's gotten me thinking about it a little bit.

Beth | 15 comments It really is baffling. I've read the reports and articles etc online but no books.

It's just such a weird case, I'd love to have some more information on it. If I get a book before anyone makes a recommendation I'll post it here

Kelly | 5 comments I was actually reading a little bit online about it the other day, mostly about the ransom note. There are comparisons in handwriting and writing styles between the note and Jon Benet's mom's handwriting... I must say, there are some very interesting similaritites. Makes ya wonder!

Dara S. (dara85) | 26 comments I readPerfect Murder, Perfect Town The Uncensored Story of the JonBenet Murder and the Grand Jury's Search for the Final Truth byLawrence Schiller. That was back when I was convinced that the parents had something to do with it. I then read The Cases That Haunt UsbyJohn E. Douglas. His was the first book that I read that suggested that the parents had nothing to do with it. There is another book, I haven't read by one of the detectives on the case, Steve Thomas and of course, John Ramsey wrote a book. I have not read John Ramsey's book either.

Kelly | 5 comments Dara, I've been wanting to read The Cases That Haunt Us and it's been on my tbr list for quite a while. I may go ahead and place a hold for it at the library. I just added Perfect Murder, Perfect Town and JonBenet by Steve Thomas to my list as well. Do you plan to read John Ramsey's book? I'm not sure about that one yet. I don't have a firm opinion one way or another about whether I believe the parents did it or not, but IF they did, then John R's book would obviously be biased, false, and self-serving. Of course, I feel horrible even saying that might be the case if he in fact had nothing to do with the murder. It's just so hard to know, ya know? I bet this will be one of those that is never ever solved.

Christine Hatfield (christinesbookshelves) | 192 comments I remember that story and i think that the little girl never should've been murdered and i think whoever killed her i think that person should go to prison for a long time
