I made me challenge list just as the new year started, but I just found this group, so I'm joining and sharing my list. I tried this challenge last year, but failed by half a book... Hopefully I'll do better this year!

The Time Traveler's Wife is one of my favourite books! I really enjoyed The Pillars of the Earth as well.

I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister - I've been wanting to read both that and Wicked.

I've read The Nanny Diaries and though I enjoyed it, I found it a bit too similar to The Devil Wears Prada with the mean, unreasonable boss.

Thanks for the comments. I read Wicked and its two sequels (Son of a Witch: A Novel and A Lion Among Men) and really liked them, so I'm looking forward to reading something else by Maguire.

As for Nanny Diaries, I got it really cheap second hand, and thought it would be a lighter easier book to help me make it to the end of my challenge list! ;-) I haven't read the Devil Wears Prada, only saw the movie...

Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister was wonderful! It wasn't as good as Wicked, but it's a quality novel in its own right. I'll look forward to hearing your opinion of it.

I've read all of them, in the end! Yay, my first successful challenge! Now on to a new list.
