April Mini Challenge - New to you author

Duration - 1st April 2010 to 30th April 2010

Our mini challenge for April is to read something by an author who is new to you just to try them out. Could be from a recommendation or something that is on the TBR you are not sure about.

Simply choose a book by the new to you author to read and hopefully you will find another one to fall in love with!

As this is a monthly mini challenge the requirement is just to list one book. For faster readers or those who want more of a challenge choose say 2,3 or 5 (or you choose, just post it up so we can follow you!!). They can either all be from the same new author or from say 3 different new authors.

I've found I like having reading challenges on the go :) I have been meaning to read some stuff by Laurell K Hamilton for a while now so she is going to be my new to me author. (I did get a book off my shelf to read a few weeks ago but never actually started it) I have the first two books in the series on my shelf so I'm going to set my challenge as two books by the same new author!

I loved this book! 5 stars for sure. It's a great YA book that deals with the Fae and their myths and legends. It has great detail and lots of action with just a hint of romance that leaves you craving the next book. I can hardly wait for August when the second book comes out. This is a definate must read!

I'm rather fond of Shirley's Daamsgard's stuff. I only started read her about a year ago.

I've found I'm liking the series more with every book. Very enjoyable so far!
