Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments LOL! It is a bit early, but I'm already anxious to read ...

* Books #2+ of the "Darkness Within" series by Jennifer Turner, if she gets them out by then

* Book 3 Green Eyed Demon, even though I still have book 2 waiting to be read

* Book 7-8 The Darkest Secret & The Darkest Surrender of LoTU

* Book 1 Eternal Rider of Larissa Ione's new series "Lords of Deliverance"

* Book 5 Mona Lisa Eclipsing, which I hope is better b/c this series is slippin' lower on my TBR list as it goes on

* Book 3 of Singh's "Guilt Hunter" series

* Book 1 of Gleason's new "Draculia" series, "The Vampire Voss"

* Book 6 of Brigg's "Mercy" series and Book 3 of her "Alpha & Omega" series

* Book 5 of Karen Chance's "Cassandra Palmer" series

I'm sure by the end of the year that list will have doubled. :)

message 6: by Anna (new)

Anna (aknas22) | 349 comments The next books by Patricia Briggs, Laurell K. Hamilton, Charlaine Harris and Patricia Briggs. Also the next Jim Butcher, Changes ended on a cliffhanger. I hate those!

message 7: by Melodie (new)

Melodie (melodieco) 2011??? Well, it'll be here b/4 we know it. The big ones for me will be the next Harry Dresden since CHANGES left you hanging, then the next Sookie, the next Mercy Thompson and the 3rd in the Wolves of Mercy Falls series which started with SHIVER.

Oh..."

yeah I thought about that after I looked through my list of books and they were all summer 2010 or fall 2010. I was going to delete it, but people started posting lol.

Oh well, we can bring the thread back and dust it off when it gets to Nov :)

message 9: by Kelley Anne (last edited May 17, 2010 07:26PM) (new)

Kelley Anne | 1619 comments I've got to ditto the new Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega books. Can't believe that I have to wait 2 years for an Alpha and Omega! I'll have Hunting Ground memorized by then!

Also looking forward to the next BDB. Excited to learn more about Payne and it will be interesting to see how Manny fits into the whole situation!

The only other one that I can think of off of the top of my head is the final (I think final) book of the Wicked Lovely series!

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments Shazzy wrote: "I can't wait to read Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore and City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare."

Shazzy, I'm anxious for Clare's new series too. I stumbled on her Mortal Instruments series a while ago and really enjoyed it.

message 11: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) Ooh... I almost forgot about those two books!

I'm really excited for Bitterblue as well!!!

message 14: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments @Shazzy - I know. Thankfully I just recently read those two, so I haven't been waiting as long as other people have.

message 15: by Kyle (new)

Next year? Gah. I finished FIRE not too long ago and honestly, I think that should have been her debut book if it didn't spoil anything about Leck.

message 22: by Dawn, Desperately seeking new worlds (new)

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments Not to sound whiny but why is it we get a new Mercy book and we have to wait 6 more months for the next alpha omega book?

message 23: by Darcy (last edited Jul 24, 2010 08:19PM) (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 3123 comments Dawn, I thought I heard that Briggs had to push back the next Alpha and Omega to update Masques and then wrote, Wolfsbane. Hopefully it will be worth it!

message 24: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments Dawn wrote: "Not to sound whiny but why is it we get a new Mercy book and we have to wait 6 more months for the next alpha omega book?"

That is a little annoying, but I guess more people enjoy the Mercy series?

message 25: by Literary Ames (new)

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 237 comments That's not fair. I like A&O more. I guess I'm in the minority.

message 26: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments At least she's releasing 2(or more) books a year, some authors only do one a year which is really annoying.

message 27: by Literary Ames (new)

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 237 comments That's true. OK, I'll be more grateful now. :)

message 28: by Darcy (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 3123 comments I didn't care for the first A&O book, but the second was so much better and was really looking forward to the 3rd one.

Does that mean Molly Harper is done with her Jane Jameson series?

message 46: by twinfish2 (new)

twinfish2 | 21 comments I was under the impression that the Jane Jameson series was only going to be a trilogy. I could be wrong. Maybe these two new ones will take place in the same world but with different people? I know these are listed as book 1 and 2 of the werewolf series, don't know how many she is going to write in the series.
