Welcome to the group Jim, I'm sure you'd like Nathan's books - they are highly addictive and I'm waithing anxiously for Owner's Share.

Susan/Nathan, do you know if your books are available on Amazon? Or would I need to check our your website at Ridan?
Just read more in the group. I'll check out the link to your limited editions/paperbacks. Do you have any links to his earlier stuff?
Amelia - You can buy all Ridan books at Amazon - or directly from us. We can get you signed copies if you order through this link:
Limited Edition Hardcover copies are only available through Ridan and can be purchased at this link:
Usually there would be links on the website but we are behind on a few things and hope to have the website updated soon.

Also wanted to say thank you for inviting me to the group. :)

I've been really busy with BaltiCon 44 and getting the books shipped out and just finding my feet again.
The Trader's Tales are about a universe that's been explored and settled by an airline and not by an air force. Military conquest is not an option because the universe revolves around trade and war gets in the way of trade.
It's been a great deal of fun and I'm looking forward to finishing the 6th book in the cycle.

The other books are expected to come out later (I seem to remember hearing that Half Share was going to come out in 2011, but I could be wrong).

Ravenwood is on the table for November, 2010, but it's not actually in the pipeline yet.

Half Share is finally out (at least in e-format) and we're stuck on a layout problem for the paper copies. That problem *should* be fixed now and the book will be available to ship as soon as the publisher gets them to me.

One of the most important things that any aspiring writer can do is to read books by a good author. Nathan Lowell definitely qualifies. A good writer will make his characters come to life and will make you care about what happens to them.
If you really want to know how successful Nathan is at that, ask his followers about Article 37. I've listened to all of his books and read the ones in print.
All I can say is thanks!

I also used to like fantasy, until they all started to seem like the same formulaic tale. Again, Lowell is different, delightfully so. I really enjoyed Ravenwood, and am again waiting for the sequel.

Nathan, thanks for the great works, all I can say is I'll stay a fan as long as you can keep writing this great literature.

We're glad to have you here so step up and introduce yourself.
