im trying to cut way down for June. Last month, went to a used book store giving away books. came home with 22 hard covers.

seriously that cover.. oh yeah!!

I am curious about Sherilyn Kenyons alter/personality writing...
so two for this month..... so far... :)

You've got some good ones! I'll have to check out B&N again.

I checked to see if the sale was still going and unfortunately books are back to the regular price.

These are great titles - thanks for sharing them with us!

That's too bad :( I really wanted to rack on that sale.

I know, I wish it went on awhile longer. I should get my last sale order tomorrow. Only 3 books, bummer.

Add this to the months purchases..
Three for this month..
- Valorie.. That 'Web Of Lies' looks good I want to try that..

I loved the first book Spider's Bite. So now I can't wait to jump into Web of Lies!
I went to Anderson's Bookshop today for a book signing. Kim Harrison signed For a Few Demons More for me and Kelley Armstrong signed Frostbitten. I also bought the great The Body Finder and got Kimberly Derting's autograph. I bought a previously signed Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper and also bought Mockingbird by Kathryn Erskine and Toads and Diamonds by Heather Tomlinson. In addition, I got my Thriftsbook delivery of Strip Search by William Bernhardt and Still Waters: A Mystery by Nigel McCrery. Not a bad day at all, book-wise.

The Cincinnati Kid: A Novel by Richard Jessup

I went to my old primary school's fun fair last night.
They were raising money for Haiti so $4.00 for the lot of them was worth it.

You bought all those for $4? Good for you! I loved Cathcher in the Rye.

Judge you?! I'm jealous! I plan of going to the ubs to see if Witch and Warrior are still there. I saw them there on Saturday, but didn't get them, and have been wishing I did ever since.

I really enjoyed the Morganville Vamp books. Hope you like them!

Hmmm.... I wish I knew. I haven't gone to the bookstore yet, but I would think the first 2 books are the same book too.

Hi Looloo..
I am not sure, I was confused as well but, here is the link to Marie Brennans website.. and according to that I think you might have bought two of the same book. Doppelganger and Warrior are the same book. the series is now called 'Doppelganger', and they have updated the covers cause of the sequel.. (Witch)
I hope you kept your receipt.. :)

Good for you! I swear I'm in the right group. I've already reached my self imposed "book budget" for this month, and we're only into the second week. There's just no way I can go the rest of the month without going to a bookstore or a library sale etc... When I get stressed with work, I have to go to a bookstore. Other people may have a glass of wine after work, I go to a bookstore. Do I sound sick?
LOL!
Oh, and I really enjoyed Fade to Black by Leslie Parrish :)

Looloo, you could always try and sell your duplicate copy yourself and use the money for more books, or just trade it for that matter.

I'll probably just trade one at the ubs. Definitely won't let it be a total waste.
Michelle - I'm looking for Stealing Kathryn - lucky!!

You are not sick at all! I do the same thing! I know a new book will always make me feel better!

I only went to the ubs just to see if Marie Brennan's Warrior/ Witch series was still available, and found Stealing Kathryn while digging through the shelves in the urban fantasy section. It seems like whenever I go to the ubs "to just get [book title here:]", I end up finding something else that I just have to have.
