Hi, I'm new but I love, Love Inspired fiction. I'm currently reading "Crossroads" by Irene Hannon & one of my fave's is: "The Heart's Forgiveness" by Merrillee Whren
Lynn,What did you think of "Bound With Love"? I have it, too, and I really enjoyed it. I love looking at Christianbook.com's catalogs. I always have to look at the new novella's!

I just turned in my last in a series, but it won't be out till Dec 2010!
I do have a Love Inspired Classic that is out this Sept and a Love Inspired Historical out this Dec. Just saw the covers and love them.
And I am an escapist reader too.
Life is heavy.
You can't go wrong with Lenora Worth, Marta Perry, Gail Martin and Margaret Daley.And there are so many new LI authors that I haven't read them all.
Can't keep up my reading when I'm writing!

Of course I've read several of Lyn's books too. Can't put those down either. I read fast, but get so absorbed when I read I feel like I'm in the book!
Margaret Daley has a series called Foster in Love...I believe. Those are good. It focuses on foster kids and you kinda follow characters from the previous books. And her Ladies of Sweetwater is good as well. She had a Foster in Love one out this month. Lenora Worth's Garden Series and Texas Heart series are both good too.

I would suggest my LI Classic coming out in Sept. Not sad, but heart-warming. IMHO!And I've read Marta's Leah's Choice to give her an endorsement. I don't like Amish stories usually. But it was so well done that I was happy to give it a good quote.

Yeah, i figured that when you said none of the author's appealed to you. I have those times too. Happily Ever Afters are easier to escape in than ones that have deeper issues in them.

Well, we know you will like Cathy Marie Hake, Yvonne Lehman is good...and she's funny. Linda Ford is good too. Don't know about the others.
I may have read them, just don't remember the titles or authors. I'm sure i have with as much as i read. LOL

Hi all,Thought I would get back involved in this discussion since I started it with my old goodreads account. I am reading Jessie by Lori Wick. I am almost finished with it. I'm also reading Plain Perfect by Beth Wiseman on my kindle.
I'm reading Winter's Awakening by Shelley Shepard Gray. I'm a sucker for love triangles!
I finished Jessie by Lori Wick and am half way through Plain Perfect by Beth Wiseman.
I have read those two books. this book is like a sequel to Waiting our the Storm.
I am finished with Jessie and now I'm reading three books. Plain Perfect by Beth Wiseman, House of Secrets by Ramona Richards (LI Suspense), and A Time to Laugh by Kelly Eileen Hake (HSP)

I finished House of Secrets and Plain Perfect long time ago. I am reading Dakota Child by Linda Ford. I also finished reading And Baby Makes Five by Debra Clopton.

I am just starting The Apothecary's Daughter. Supposedly very good, though not her best book. I LOVED The Lightkeeper's Daughter, which I just finished and this was recommended to me. So I'll give it a shot :)

I read the Apothecary's Daughter on my Kindle. It was the first free book I downloaded and read. I loved it. I will be reading more of her books.I am in the middle of reading An Ocean Away by Lisa Harris. A very interesting and intriguing book set in Northern Rhodesia and New York in 1920.
I got the date wrong in my last post. An Ocean Away is in 1921, not 1920, and it is awesome.
I am reading Secrets of Harmony Grove after taking a break from it. I will probably rate it a 2 or 3 at this point. Probably a 3.
