Well....a little bit about me....

My name is Mariangeles, which is a combination of my first and middle names, Maria de los Angeles. I'm eternally young, because Edward asked Carlisle for a favor....no, actually, it was my husband, a tall, hunky, dark-haired guy, who turned me! Lol.

My favorite books are The Twilight Saga (of course!), Jane Eyre, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, My Name Is Asher Lev....there are many more!

As for writing genres, I love poetry, and am trying my hand at fiction. I love fantasy, romance, and science fiction!

I would like to have more time to write -- I have TWO jobs! SO frustrating!! Maybe I can win the lottery or something....

Why do I love writing? Because of the flow of language, the music of words, because of the beauty of creating one's own magical worlds...because writing is pure ecstasy!!

Oh really, I love the Bree Tanner Book? I like getting the backstory. And it made the movie more fun to watch.

I just saw Eclipse, and I personally thought it was the best you of the three so far.

yeah, Eclipse was so much better than twilight and new moon -where Kristen keeps sucking air every time she speaks lol xD

Definitely. It was done by a horror movie director, David Slade, so the movie was darker. They also kept a lot closer to the books than either of the other two. And I think the special effects for the wolves, the running vampires and the sparkles was much better.

I'm Jim, 51 years old, married for 28, have 3 grown kids. (Well, the girl is a junior in college living with her boyfriend, but the boys are completely on their own.) The rest of the family are: 3 horses, 1 pony, 4 dogs & 2 goats. I'm a sys admin by day & have a small farm with a large workshop, a small woods, many flower gardens & several ponds. All that keeps me entirely too busy maintaining it to write properly, but I try.

My favorite books are a tough one. Depends on the genre & the day. Roger Zelazny is probably my overall favorite author since I'm never sure if his stuff is fantasy, SF, S&S or what. I guess his Lord of Light & This Immortal are two of my favorites. The Einstein Intersection by Samuel R. Delany is another, but I'm currently re-reading the entire Matt Helm (an American James Bond) series by Donald Hamilton & loving it.

Genre of writing... well, I've published one YA fantasy short story & several nonfiction pieces on woodworking, trees & computers, but those genres are not my main love.

The projects I'm working on now are a crime/thriller/action novel that started out as one short story, became four, none of which fit any marketable lengths, so I'm gluing them together into a novel. It's almost ready for a friend of mine to proof. I'm also taking the same character into a fantasy world novel. That's a story/world that's been kicking around in my head for about 30 years...

One reason why I love writing? Ugh. No clue. I don't think I do. Sometimes I just have to, though. It's kind of like going to the bathroom; I must or I'll explode.

yeah, the anime was just as good as the novel.
but I like the novel better, because I can always imagine how hot Howl is. :P
