Lacy, let us know what you think of it. Some people had problems and some didn't with Fallen..

Hopefully I will like it, but I've found the YA books really are love/hate and no in between.

Ginger, got Clockwork Angel requested from the library but there are a lot of people a head of me..
Also, you liked Torment? ..."
i loved Clockwork angel---

Julie, I keep hearing good things so that's why I wanted to check it out..

Well, see what you do and it won't hurt to talk to a librarian..

Speaking of sad and patetic places my parents just went to Texas I think San Antonio and she said they never saw a book store or a library the whole time they were there. She was even looking because she ran out of books to read

Wish you luck JenC! Keep the faith sister.. and Julie I hear ya.

I've got these out from the library right now. Why does everything come in at once??

On request (not doing any more of these until the mountain of books I've already borrowed have been read):

I get where Jen C is coming from, my librarians aren't friendly at all. They all seem to hate their jobs.

I also just bought

I'm very excited about both :)

Hmm, I might have to read it after all. Ginger, I love Beautiul Creatures! I hope you enjoy it. I've been hearing nothing but good things aboutNevermore and I can't wait to read it.

Jen, I'm in PA too. Nothing to great in the way of books around here except Barns and Nobel and Borders.

I started Nevermore. So I'll keep ya'll posted :)
OH and the #2 for Beautiful Creatures just came out. I saw B&N stocking the bookshelves with it yesterday.

My librarians are friendly except when you want a book they don't have. From what I've heard from them they are just frustrated by the budget cuts. They feel bad that they aren't ordering all the books that everyone wants, but they can't do anything about it.
Lauren I have to drive 45 mins to a Barns and Nobel but I have a Borders 2 mins up the road. Where are you in PA, I'm West right next to Ohio

I started Nevermore. So I'll keep ya'll posted :)
OH and the #2 for Beau..."
I loved Beautiful Creatures and can't wait for the chance to read the 2nd book. You'll also have to let us know if Nevermore is good.

I finished yesterday and I think it's best to say the Jury's still out. I really liked parts of the book. I think, having just come off of Clockwork Angel, i expected the same type of "writing style" and i didn't get it. =\ My fault for having expectations lol
It was definitely a more 'youthful' writing style, which I generally love.
I liked a lot of the storyline. And I loved the two leads. Very unpredictable pairing, and that it a more interesing read.
NOW, as for the rest of you reading... it's a series. I went into it NOT knowing there would be a second book. Just preparing you. If' I'd known, I might not have thrown the book across the room and hit a wall (after I read the last chapter) So...just a heads up :)
I think there will be mixed reviews. But I encourage everyone to read :) Definitely a mysterious book.

Strange Angels
The Unbearable Lightness of Being
I think I have another book reserved that's still waiting to come in. Hopefully it'll arrive before I go off to London, I need something to read on the train.

I know the feeling. I couldn’t bring myself to read anything yesterday so I watched movies all day. I guess reading slumps come with the territory when you read as much as we do.
