Time to Nominate next Chunky Read

The Forsyte Saga, which I have on my shelf and would love to actually get to
and then there are 3 Dickens novels, in no particular order, that I might not read without a group and would really like to:
Our Mutual Friend
The Pickwick Papers
Bleak House
Okay, this one barely makes the cut, at 752 pgs, but I will nominate it because I have it on my bookshelf, and because I want to read it for Tera's Presidential Challenge here on COL, so if it is a chunky read also, I could kill two birds with one stone! LOL
John Adams by David McCullough
John Adams by David McCullough

Sheila, I totally adore this book. If I hadn't read it already, I would totally support you with this.
But, I will nominate another David McCullough book, Truman. I've been wanting to read this for a long time and for a lot of the same reasons as Sheila wants to read John Adams.
Ooh, Amy, you know I could totally go for reading Truman. I just looked it up, and ended up ordering a used copy from Amazon for $.01 (plus shipping of course!LOL) But I'd be willing to pull John Adams out of the nomination and go for this instead (so we don't split the presidential vote). I know many people have read John Adams already, and if others would prefer to read this chunky Truman I am totally for it. :o)

I just requested A Suitable Boy. I've just started to be in an "Indian" mood.
Oh, and I nominate Queen: The Story of an American Family by Alex Haley. Would have nominated Roots but it's just shy of 750 pages.
