Cindy (cindyw35) | 128 comments I'm reading Beastly. I'm having a hard time getting into it, because I still have the Julia Grey series in my head.

I finished Cynthia Eden's ETERNAL HUNTER last night. It was funny and dark and sexy. I'm glad I waited until all three in the trilogy were out before I read it. Now I don't have to wait for the others to be published.

I finished the Iron Duke. Wow! I really recommend it. She creates an amazingly believable complex alternate universe, and her hero and heroine are both likeable and unusual characters. She also does a fascinating job of handling how both of them overcome problematic sexual initiations. Does anyone know if she has written anythning before this other than vampire stuff? I dislike vampire books intensely but I'm eager to read other stuff by her.

Yay! Glad you liked it:) Gideon, the hero of THE PERFECT RAKE, is one of my all time favorite heroes. Totally sigh-worthy.

I just finished Lauren Willig's The Mischief of the Mistletoe and LOVED IT. I cannot enthuse enough about this book. It was like Jane Austen, PG Wodehouse and Georgette Heyer collaborated on a book and this is what they ended up with. It was even sweet (ie. no consummation) and I loved it anyway! Apparently her usual books are split between the Regency Spy story and the present day scholar story. But this one is the Regency story only. Still, I'm definitely going to give the rest of the series a try.

All I know of is the novella "Here There Be Dragons" in the BURNING UP anthology. Which is a prequel to THE IRON DUKE.

Calila Read The Year of Living Scandalously by Julia London. Seriously loved it! It had such great banter.

Also finally read Lover Awakened by JR Ward. Totally my favorite of the 3 in the series i've read. Just loved it!

Just read the mischief of the mistletoe . What a great sense of humor she has! I also love the way she can make the most unlikely characters fall believably in love
and all her Heros and heroes are so distinctive. You would never confuse Letty for Mary for Charlotte for Penelope....
