I started this topic in an other blog but I am curious to see what other bloggers and book bloggers think about Memes? Do you participate in them? Are there ones you particularly like?

I think they are a great networking tool and it can help set up a post for your blog every day of the week!

For example I just posted TBR Thursday Hosted by Book Love Blog () on my blog yesterday to talk about what books came into my house this week, whether I bought them, borrowed them, downloaded them, etc.

(There are similar memes hosted by The Story Siren at called "In My Mailbox"; and Should Be Reading shouldbereading.wordpress.com called "Friday Finds")

There is a great website called for ideas for memes for every day of the week!

I love participating in memes, but I can't always post them because of busy-ness. Although I definitely try. I started one of my own, , that is still up-and-coming. I also have "memes": , , Thursday Interpretation, and . The "memes" are ones that I try to do every week or biweekly, but they don't have Linkys. However, I would still love for people to participate in them; they can leave links in the comments.

Possibly but I can set it to post on Monday. There's only a hour or so difference I think.

I always have a hard time with doing memes. Some of them I just don't really want to do enough to do it regularly. I've just started doing the book blogger hop by Crazy For Books:

I have invented two of my own memes. One is Cover Wars where different covers from a book battle to see which one everyone likes. People vote for a week, I post the winner and the next covers. Details are here:

I also started Sweet Discoveries on Sunday where I post about "sweet" books that I have "discovered" during the week. I try to post it regularly but I don't always find new books during the week.

I love the idea of cover wars!!! I think chick lit reviews does that too but there's might not be as frequent as a weekly meme...I will definitely join in next week!! Thanks for sharing!

I love memes. I don't always participate in the same ones every week, but they always help to get me blogging when I'm feeling stuck.

I used to participate in loads of memes, so much so that I had a blog post every day. But since I started working etc, I haven't been able to keep up with it every single day.

I have, however, been running my own meme every Wednesday since I started blogging in 2011!
