MEC (m_e_c) | 10 comments Hi Lauren,

I have Atlas Shrugged waiting on my shelf and the Historian and Clash of Kings waiting on my ereader. Any of those at the top of your list?

Caveats:
I have a couple of books i'm in the middle of that I want to finish first (only a few days)

If you want to read the Clash of Kings, I'll need a week or so to re-read Game of Thrones (I've been planning on re-reading the series in order to remember everything that's been going on before Martin releases his new book).

If you want to read Atlas Shrugs, I'm going to b**** and moan about it being in paperback (I love my ereader) and it may take me longer to read as it's too big to take on the bus (the ereader has spoiled me).

PS - Industrial Magic is great - the whole series is very good.

Megan

Lauren (marguax) | 18 comments Yah! I'm glad someone has some of these books. All of those are at the top of my list. Atlas Shrugged I have the audiobook for, which I will listen to regardless. I think reading the Clash of Kings would be a fun buddy read. If you need a week or so, thats cool, I'll squeeze a quick read in.

I've also read

A Clash for Kings
Fahrenheit
Dracula
Macbeth
Industrial Magic (not sure if I can find my copy, though. I may have donated it)

Lauren (marguax) | 18 comments I'm glad to hear Atlas Shrugged is one of your favorites, I'm a little nervous it will be boring and I'll have to suffer through all those pages!
Which books do I have that you have not read?

message 16: by Dani (new)

Dani I need a buddy for a read and currently have the following to read that I would be interested in reading with someone. Please help me out. I am looking for really getting to know the members in this group through book discussion. Thanks! If you have these or want to get them and read them this summer please LET ME KNOW! I have thousands on my to read shelf and a lot that I have in paperback and also Kindle so these are only a few selections that come to mind right now that I know I have and wouldn't mind discussing with a fellow member.

Someone Else's Life
A Miracle to Believe in
Willow
Memoirs of a Geisha

Anyone want to read something from my fantasy or thriller shelves? I was thinking we would read a certain number of chapters a week, discuss them, then repeat until the book was done.
