I like the underlying story, but I just can't seem to get past the same old descriptions for everything. I was also extremely bothered by the initial sex scene and her acceptance of it. I'm all for characters having flaws, but the type these people seem to have are...I just don't have a word for it. Maybe I'm just too feminist for these books. Still giving them a chance and have moved on to Dark Challenge.

This one was actually okay. Desari was so much better than the other women and put her man in place.

Yeah, I liked her a lot. There are quite a few more females coming onto the scene soon that also show the men up and are much more than damsels in distress!
