Hi, my name is Irene and I have joined because I have seen it happen on the street, to a friend (who we would have never suspected it of and could have helped), seen a couple friends suffer through the loss of someone they love because of it, know aquatinces at school who have thoight about it ( thankfully they told someone and they were helped), and I have nearly lost someone I dearly love. So I am here to join the battle against suicide and provide help to those who need it.

Hi.......My name is Alexis and I’ve attempted suicide. My parents drive me up the wall and half the time it’s because of them that I find myself thinking these sorts of things. I’m 14 years old and one of the many reasons I read books is so I could see things from other peoples perspective and so I could stop thinking about suicide and running away and that fate will find me and help me get up onto my feet , throw down a rope and help me up from this hell hole. I just hope I live till then.

Hi, I'm Morgan. Where to begin? Okay, favorites first. My favorite colors are black and neon green, books, Harry Potter(same with movies), bands, Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco, candy, Reese's or Twix or pretty much anything with chocolate. Now, onto the most important. I've never attempted suicide and I don't plan to, but i have had thoughts about it. Not serious thoughts though, just considering it. But then I think about all the things I haven't done in life yet (meet Pete Wentz <3) and it pulls me out of those thoughts. Oh yeah, and another thing. I have OCD, but whenever I mention it to my family, they all just think I'm joking about it just like they do. No one really believes me because I blend my actions in with normal ones so well (counting steps in multiples of 10, adding numbers, making things exactly even, etc.). So OCD leads to another secret of mine, cutting. Nope, not my wrists. On my stomach, but low enough for my bathing suit bottom to cover. At first, I tried it on the outside of my arm, and that was the best place, but my mom noticed and I had to pass it off as "just a scratch" and so I couldn't continue on my arm anymore. I like emo things, but since i haven't been to the mall in a WHILE, I still have last year's brightly-colored clothes, so I don't look emo. As for my hair, it's a total disaster because apparently my hairdresser doesn't know how long emo bangs are. If I forgot anything else, I'll post it later because I've just written a novel XD

Oh, yeah, I'm glad I'm alive too sometimes, but then I just have laspses back into whatever I'm experiencing. WhenI was away, I would walk up and down the street for 3 hours, then go inside like I had been there the whole time, when really all I wanted was to stay out there forever, just walking.

It's just, I have friends, but sometimes I just want to be alone, and at my other house I was allowed so much freedom, and all the kids on the block didn't like me, so I could walk up and down the street and sing and no one would be out. It was wonderful, like I was the only one ever.

I also like to sit in my closet, and my half-siblings at my other house would turn off the light, knowing that I'm in there. Sometimes it made me mad, sometimes it made me happy, and sometimes it made me think of how they are, if they keep up with stuff like this, going to be the ones we always didn't like.

Why can't people give birth to angel children. THAT would be a breakthrough.

But no, everyone HAS to have a mischief side.
