I'm still reading Invincible by Sherrilyn Kenyon and then plan on starting on Master Of The Highlands by Veronica Wolff (I almost feel like I've read this one but I just can't remember LOL!)

Rereading "Play of Passion" by Nalini Singh and after that "Kiss of Snow", I love her books! After those I don't know...

Why, Silk Is for Seduction, of course. :) Just started it last night, and was immediately hooked.

I finally caved and started reading OUTLANDER by Diana Gabaldon. I'm about 3/4 of the way through it and really liking it.

I was on a huge medieval kick a few years ago and this is reminding me of why I loved them so much. I'm not sure if this is going to make much sense but they can be a bit grittier and much more politically incorrect without me getting my dander up as much. LOL Even the regencies that were my first love can seem so politically correct at times that I don't really feel like I'm getting the feel of the times. Granted, it's all fiction and the heroes I've come to love probably didn't exist back then either but I'm sure y'all know what I mean! :)

Keeping that same thought I thought I'd try to dip my toes into the erotic historical pool but I'm not having a whole lot of luck. It seems the more risque the books get the more the quality of writing declines, or at least that's the general consensus I'm getting from all the reviews out there. To quote one comment - "It was a 450 page book with 400 pages of sex and 50 pages of story and not a very engaging story at that."

So, I'm off to try to find Kaki Warner's newest, HEARTBREAK CREEK.

@Manda.... OMG!!!! I'm reading Kill Me Twice, by Roxanne St. Claire. (book one in the Bullet Catchers series) HUBBA HUBBA!!!! I'm wildly, madly, insanely in LOOOOVE with Alex Romero. Sheesh, where has he been all of my life? For that matter, why am I JUST NOW finding this author? I am so thankful to you for spotlighting this author in your Monday Puzzler!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! lOL!!!

Wow! Lots of fun reads this week. Irish, you might want to try some of Jenna Petersen's erotic historicals under her Jess Michaels name. I actually preferred them to her regular historicals. Though it's been a while since I've read them.

Monica, I'm glad you're enjoying the Roxanne St. Claire. I fell for Alex Romero too! And I don't even *like* heroes with long hair. Which goes to show how well St. Claire writes.

I just put aside Heaven and Earth by La Nora to cheat on her with Christie Ridgway's Can't Hurry Love. I'm going to miss the Baci sisters when this one is done.

I finished Sarah MacLean's first book in her Love by Numbers series. It was a really fun read, so I am jumping into the second one today which is Ten Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord.

Reading the newest Parasol Protectorate book--still nice and snarky but a little too much of the same thing as before. Then I'm going to read Kill Me Twice.

Reading Sirensong by Jenna Black

I just finished Stefanie Sloane's The Devil in Disguise. Both Hero and Heroine were fully realized characters, faults and all. Not the best-edited book, but it had a rip-roaring story, with an unexpected kicker at the end. Kind of an 1810 mystery-thriller.
