We had a little reality check at Wickedly Bookish today. Kind of a paranormal palette cleanser for the week. This week's reality check was The Creed Legacy.
Today, I wrote a letter to my novel on my blog. It was fun. :)

Beth, You have an interesting blog! Variety for sure. I like the "3 Little Pigs." Also, I agree with you on the education front. Very sad! At least all kids must be able to do simple math (teens and adults, too). I refuse to let my kids use a calculator for math until they are older. My sons are ages 10 and 11 and my daughter 4. I think calculators will make them lazy. My daughter is now going to a Montessori school, and I like that they are teaching her concrete methods to help later in abstract thinking. Public schools...unfortunately are going farther down and really education needs to be a priority here. Take care Beth!

Christina, I enjoyed this blog "Unleash Your Innter MILF", and I think so much of what was said is true of how many women feel about themselves. It was nice advice to boost the esteem of women!

I blogged about having video chats with my sister and how when we were little kids video chats were the stuff of science fiction--but now it's reality. I found a fascinating site online at which has compiled a list of fiction authors and the inventions writers thought of long before any scientists did.Check it out!
