How can one movie possibly show how critical of a time that was, for both sides?

Anyone who's done it will tell you the hard thing about working from home is avoiding distractions. (By the way, we really liked "Batwoman".)

A new book, an author appearance, a price drop � life is busy.

In book 1, THE LIES THAT BIND, a hustler and a group of fugitive slaves secretly partner to build their own plantation in antebellum Mississippi. In HONOR AMONG OUTCASTS, book 2, the story moves to Civil War Missouri where the men join the Union Army but encounter horrors being perpetrated on both sides of the conflict. Finally, in book 3, SOMETHING IN MADNESS (being released soon), the survivors return to Mississippi at war’s end, hoping to rebuild their lives, only to find unregenerate Confederates in charge.

Oh, and the author. It’s also important to have the author along.

The proceeds for that one go to the Albion (IN) Volunteer Firefighters.
Remember, every time you pass on a book, a tiny little elf house catches on fire! Which I suppose is how they end up hanging out on shelves.

We all know poetry books do not sell well so I am pleasantly surprised to see how it is doing!
