There is a Friday the 13th contest-take a look-free download of any book from the WAMM publisher-

...
Go to the web site enter-bingo-you are in with a chance.
HOOK, LINE, NO STINKERS CONTEST -- REDUX!
In light of the great success of our first contest, and in honor of our first anniversary celebration, we are kicking open the doors once more for our Hook, Line, No Stinkers Contest -- with a twist! Again, we will make this as simple as possible! Fill out the form below with three things from your WIP -- The Title (this would be the No Stinkers part of the contest), a one-line Pitch/Tag-line for it (the Line) and the Opening Sentence (the Hook). By one-line/opening sentence, we mean there should be ONE period in each, at the end. The three components will work together to make us ask for more. Be sure to include your email address so we can contact you when you win.
Along with WAMM editors, we are thrilled to have two guest judges for this contest: author Steve Barber (Haggis) and our own amazing author, Trish Stewart.
How many winners? Three. The prizes? FIRST place will get an edit/evaluation of the first three chapters of the WIP they entered from, $100 and a book of their choice from our shelves. SECOND place will get an edit/evaluation of the first two chapters of the WIP they entered from, $50 and a book of their choice from our shelves. The THIRD place winner will get an edit/evaluation of the first chapter of the WIP they entered from and a free book of their choice. The first line submitted and the works sent for evaluation must be from the same work.
Easy? Of course, so send us your first line. We will be closed to entries at 9:00 pm Pacific Standard Time on this Friday, April 27th, 2012.

I do have a question:) Do we post on this thread or do we use Event and add an event ourselves? Just want to make sure I understand.

Just wanted to let everyone know, we are in the last 13 hours of our campaign on indiegogo for The Last Planet Over series. Please give it a look and if you could pass it on we would be forever grateful. Any little bit will help. Thank you, Dennis Burns

description
The countdown begins-6 days till black Friday! In honor of the day after Thanksgiving, Shadow Cave will be free on Amazon. The event starts this Thursday and runs till Monday. So to all of you planning to brave the masses, I implore you-rather than get stabbed over a pair of shoes and an ice maker, stay home and do some internet shopping, then grab a copy of Shadow Cave. If you like it-great I’d love to hear from you! And if you don’t, well-at least you didn’t get stabbed, right? Happy holidays!
What Paranormal Kiss Review had to say about Shadow Cave:
Shadow Cave by Angie West is the first book in her new Shadow Cave series. It is a great start to the series. Once you start reading it doesn’t take long until you are swept along on a journey with the heroine, Claire. It is a journey to search for her missing brother Mike and it is fraught with equal amounts of danger and discovery. Angie West weaves a tale that is both fascinating and suspenseful. The world she creates is imaginative and nicely detailed. Claire is a great heroine. She’s smart, gutsy and down to earth. She’s easy to like and relate to. You can’t help but root for her.
There is a love interest which will satisfy romance fans. It isn’t a central part of the story but it is a nice addition. The flow of the story is very well done until the end when things come to a conclusion in a rapid fashion. I wish the ending had been drawn out just a bit more. As this first book ends things are left pretty open-ended, which is typical and expected for the first of a series. I wouldn’t classify it as a cliffhanger so you can join me while I breathe a sigh of relief and say, “Dear Author, Thank you for not torturing me with a cliffhanger. It does leave plenty of questions unanswered and I look forward to discovering the answers in future books.
