It does "look" good, and I am not finished, but I am in chapter 37 and not enjoying myself. I stopped because I was so bored and searched the internet for some reviews. Between goodreads, Amazon, CBD, Shelfari, LT ALL of the reviews are bad 3.5 stars or less, minus one review that is five stars that is praising the author and says nothing about the book and could easily be someone who wants to scream for a friend but has never read the book. There is still another less than half of the book to read through and it might completely change my mind, but right now it is just drab.

I have read all of her other books, but this is her first true historical. Chateau of Echoes was set in the present but had a parallel story that went back in history in it that was really fascinating.
Wow, I guess I didn't come back here, but I could have sworn I did. I read it and have good and bad to say about it. Click on the title of the book, and go look at the reviews to see what I said. Then I'll discuss my opinions. :)
