I'm reading an ARC of Murder Most Persuasive: A Mystery by Tracy Kiely. It's a contemporary cozy mystery that is loosly based on Jane Austen's Persuasion. So far it's great fun. And there's a peripheral romance to keep me happy:)
I finished the Iron Duke and I am amazed 'cuz I liked it :D The steam-punk gender doesn't attract me that much, the metal flesh and all is just not my kind of thing...
Reading Changing the Game(this book is so steamy!!) by Jaci Burton and The Bed and the Bachelor by Tracy Anne Warren.

The plot is two relative strangers having a "road romance" on the way to Scotland to elope. Some of you may like it more than I did.

I'd been reluctant to give this a try, but perhaps I will now.
I have been a reading glutton this past week, including Storm's Heart, and the Many Sins of Lord Cameron, both of which I really liked although Storm's Heart ended a little weakly; also the new Sarah Mayberry, the new Karina Bliss, the new Victoria Dahl, Cat, Wild and Steamy (for the Meljean Brook novella)...and maybe I forgot one! (oh, I did read the most recent Susan Mallery Fool's Gold, which I really liked...) I have no idea what I will read the rest of the month...
Susan, I really really recommend The Iron Duke. I'm not a steam punk fan--its the only steam punk I've read--but its a great book.
Susan it's really ok, the book I mean. You may want to kill the heroine some 20-30 times till you finish the book, but the hero makes up for it :D
I finished SW's Rebirth, I liked it but not as much as book one- Afterlife. What an ending though, I can't wait for book 3.
I'm going to start on Cayla Kluver's Legacy and then I have a few more YA's to read before I start on some much needed adult historical romance.

LOL! Ok, I'm sold. I've had a slow reading week (actually last two weeks) as everyone in my house took turns getting sick. Still reading A Lady's Lesson in Scandal, which is absolutely wonderful. I have Victoria Dahl's newest up next, and then I will have to whip The Iron Duke out of the TBR and read that. :) SB Sarah just did a glowing review of a new steampunk novella by Meljean Brook.
Just so you know: the heroine might make you want to kill her, but you should read on :D As one of my friends said: "I should have really loved this book: it has pirates, steam-punk and zombies, but that Mina we have to kill"

I loved the previous 2 in this series...looking forward to reading this one too...
