Call me Kooky, old, daft and venerable (for those trying to be PC) but I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to put books on the groups shelves (and put the cover pictures and links seamlessly into posts). Is there a guide for this? If this is another one of those simple things, go easy on me...I'm retired Navy.
To add books to the bookshelf, click on 'bookshelf' and an empty box should appear at the top of the screen on the left. You can type in the book title there.
It will pull up a comment box and you then can add the book to bookshelves.

All members, including authors, are welcome to add books to the bookshelf, with the following guideline:
Do not add a date read to the book. Only group reads are marked as date read because these books will show up at the top of the bookshelf.
Thanks!

I added the book for you Mike. Just so you know, any member can add books to the bookshelf and you don't have to post them here. Thanks!

Another reminder to authors that they are welcome to add their books to the bookshelf with the following qualifications:
1) Do not list a date read (only group reads should have a date read and this is added only by moderators.)
2)Do not write any kind of advertisement information under the description.
3)Do not list it as a group read (i.e. add to group read folder). Group reads are selected via a specific process and only a moderator should add that information.
4) You can add your books to the shelf that says 'written by member.'
Books that are added with the above restricted information (or contrary to guidelines) will be deleted from the group bookshelf.

I'd like to add my book to the "written by member" shelf, but the process also auto-selects either "read," "currently-reading," or "to read." Which I think violates your rule #3. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.
There are already shelves listed, but you can add a shelf that explains the type of book it is.
