How did you feel about The Power of Six?

I know I still haven't finished it yet, but I think over half a month is too long to wait to discuss this book. You can still add spoilers to this topic. I'll probably add my own spoilers when I come back and put in my review of the book.

From what I have already read, I want to say this: that chase was so awesome. I love reading paranormal books for that reason. Six and Four had police dogs and helicopters after them, and they escaped them by separating a river in two halves, getting their dog to turn into an eagle, and levitating helicopters. How awesome is that?!

Now I've read the book, and I think it is much better than the last one. All these different characters with these different personalities make it more interesting. I was worried after reading I Am Number Four that this was going to be a 'boy's series' and the only way I would like it if I suddenly loved nothing, but fights and action scenes. This book though had more than that. There was betrayal, budding love, and all other kinds of dramas.

I really liked Marina. She was so different from John and Six. Those two are more badass. With Marina, she was more emotional, but even when she was scared she was brave.

I agree. Just from his description I started getting all drooly.

Does anyone think its weird that we haven't seen a woman Mog, not even in John's visions. Don't they reproduce, or do they all just live forever?

Sarah annoyed me when she did that. Why would she do that to him? I hope it's all just some big mistake, but at the same time I hope it isn't because I was thinking, "now we see your true colors. you just made this alot easier on John now because now he won't put everyone else in danger by trying to find you again."

I was thinking the exacxt same thing! I looked back, but couldn't find it anywhere!

I would because I personally think The Power of Six was a much better book than I Am Number Four although the second book's ending is a little iffy.

Wow! i CAN NOT wait for "the rise of nine" , i absolutley love these series.....

I don't get why he still loves Sarah

I guess it's hard for him because Sarah is his first love. I however think he should have been able to get over her in that very moment that she sold him out.

And yeah, Nine was pretty hot. I liked Seven a lot more than the other characters, I don't know why. I think her powers seemed more appealing than the others. I think Six is a cool badass chick, and was hoping she'd be more into Sam than with Four lol. Oh, and the whole Sarah thing, yeah. I found her alright in the first book, and was really annoyed throughout this one because Four was willing to put everyone in danger just because he wanted to see her again. Second book was a lot better than the first. I HOPE SAM IS OKAAAAAYYYYY.
