I'm in a reading challenge group on Shelfari, which is a website similar to Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ. I always try and follow with their monthly discussion title - they seem to pick the most amazing books and I've never yet been disappointed by one of their group reads. They also set a monthly challenge which I sometimes take part in as it can be quite fun. For instance, this month's challenge is called Frankenstein's monster, and is a challenge to read books with the names of body parts in the title! You can always find books at the library that will fit, and this kind of challenge often makes you read things you would never normally pick up. I've found some fantastic books this way.
They had shelfari on Facebook didn't they? I've never been on the site though.
I'm going to put a challenge part on here but it's more of a create your own list for 2012 thing (with a few more specifics). I've implemented themes to our group reads but what you mention is more of a loose based personal choice rather than group read which sounds interesting.
I'm going to start a thread asking for suggestions of things we can do with the group - if you could post what you like or thinks works well then that would be really helpful :)

I didn't know Shelfari used to be on Facebook. They were bought out by Amazon not long ago, so maybe it was before that.
I will definitely have a think and post any brainwaves. Reading challenges are fun - I love trying to find books to fit that month's theme - so maybe that's something we could do. The Shelfari group also have some ongoing book-related games which might work here. I'll do some research and let you know!

I am in group addicts which is awesome because there is always someone posting about something. Also most of the people are very nice.
I am also apart of private group, which has less then 30 members. I like this group because it give you a chance to really know the people that participate. Also it is a girls only group.

I'm also in book addicts but I post about 90 - 95% in here because like you say - the smaller the group the more you get to know it's members and participation really counts:)

Ehm, so what reading groups are you in or are you happy just being here?
