Naw, he isn't. He's actually very nice. Last night--when we were experiencing a brown-out! STUPID STUPID BROWN-OUT! RUINED CHRISTMAS EVE! GAH!!--I really got to know him better. And he's actually really, REALLY caring. He just doesn't show it. He hides behind his own wall he's built up.

well, it has the same effect. Except I think a brown out is caused by an overuse of electricity. I'm not positive on that... I better go check...

ah, well, brown outs are actually when electricity is reduced, so things aren't as bright/efficient.

It happened once in the middle of summer when we were at the movie theater once. I think that they gave us free tickets to come back.

It sucked. We couldn't use most of our appliances 'cause the current wasn't strong enough, and our tree was only dimly lit.

We had to use the fireplace to heat up water.

Our generator isn't powerful enough to heat the entire house, so on Christmas we used it to cook weenies, (pigs in a blanket) by plugging in my grandma's Christmas present (this oven-thingymajig).

Oh, I get it. So a 'brown-out' is like an 'almost-blackout'. Haha, that makes sense. XD

Yeah. Basically it's just dimmed lights and some of your appliances can't run 'cause the current's too low.
