In the same vein as the Amish Top Ten, let's see what everyone's favourite non-Amish books of 2011 were! Remember, they don't have to be published in 2011 so just whatever your favourite non-Amish reads were from this year. We'll keep this thread open until early January people can add any last minute gems they've discovered. Non-Christian books are fine to be listed as well.

I really enjoyed the series by Janette Oke that starts with When Calls the Heart
I also enjoyed reading A Texan's Promise by Shelley Gray

I haven't read too much this year outside my Amish box, but my favorite was The Book of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern.

I enjoyed Courting Miss Amsel by Kim Vogel Sawyer. I read her Amish and Mennonite books, so this was an interesting change. I also really enjoyed reading The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom.

3. When Sparrows Fall by Meg Moseley

I'm assuming it means that each book has had one vote so far? So if two people list the same book as being a favourite, it would have a 2 after it. Correct me if I'm wrong, Diane!

Thanks! Yes, it does. :) But I am so blessed that I only have 2 semesters left before I receive my bachelor's in nursing. God is good.

BTW, today I am reading Karen Kingsbury's new book Longing. SOOOOO good so far!

I loved this one, too! It had the cutest cover, with the hero standing on the heroine's hem :)
