Early this morning I finished The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown. I really enjoyed this book about how three very different sisters pull together to her help their mother when in need. I have to say the father irritated me through the whole book.

Last night I finished Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut. This book was just okay to me and I think because it not the usual genre book I read. I kept losing interest throughout the book and had a hard time staying focus.

Late last night I started Cry Wolf by Tami Hoag

Last night I started Something Blue . I LOVED the first book and so far so good!

This afternoon I finished the audio book Cry Wolf by Tami Hoag. I really enjoyed this suspenseful novel.

I am now starting Along Came a Spider by James Patterson

I loved Something Borrowed. A friend of mine gave me that book along with Jennifer Cruisie's Bet Me which I devoured. Before that I would always sneer that I would never read dumb pink books. (chick lit) but these totally convertered me and I became a huge chick lit fan after that.

I agree. I was always weary about pink books too! I haven't read Bet Me yet but it's on my list. I like Chick lit that is predicable or over told, (I find this in a lot of book. It's the same character with the same traits and the same guy with good looks, money, and smarts yada yada yada. Don't like plots like that.) But Chick Lit is fastly becoming one of my favorite genres.

This morning I finished two books really good suspense novels. These Things Hidden by Heather Gudenkauf and Along Came a Spider by James Patterson.

I just finished reading Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins, a YA paranormal romance. So good! I normally don't go for paranormal in a big way (although I loved watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer), but this one was really fabulous. Lots of teenage angst that was relatable but twisted in a slightly magical way.

Kristie, I loved Something Borrowed and Something Blue. So interesting how she made the antagonist of one book the heroine of the next. Very impressive that she made me empathize with Darcy.

I agree Susan! I went from not liking Darcy to loving her. I also really loved Ethan. I thought this was a great two book series with Dex and Rachel being my favorite story. Can't wait to read more from this author.

I've finished two books in the last few days. One was Dream When You're Feeling Blue by Elizabeth Berg. I thought this book was just okay. I also finished Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. This was an alright Young Adult book.

Today I started listening to Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff

Today I finished Sunrise Over Fallujah and liked it. Next up is Forge and Leaving Mother Lake: A Girlhood at the Edge of the World for a library book club.

This afternoon I finished listening too Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff. I thought this book was just way too detailed for me and I starting losing interest new the near of the book.

I am now starting to listening to Temptation by Jude Deveraux

Finished To Tame a Highland Warrior 3.5 stars. It was a great read. Easy, fun and the guy was HOT!

Now I'm reading Faefever (the third book in the series). It has another hot guy as the main character! Karen Marie Moning sure does know how to make her men hot!

Shelter Me by Juliette Fay. I loved this book. I gave this book 5 stars. All I can say is have a box of Kleenex close by while reading this book.

I just finished Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri. Overall I enjoyed this book, but felt the book dragged. I gave this book 3 stars.

I just started Caught by Harlan Coben

I finished two really good books this weekend.

Caught by Harlan Coben This was a really good suspense novel. So many twist and turns and the ending surprised me.

The Usual Rules: A Novel by Joyce Maynard. This was such a good book. I felt many emotions while reading this book.

I highly recommend this book.

Waiting for You-Margot Early

This is a somewhat older Romantic/Exotic Adventure from 1996.It is set in the South American Jungle-Hero searching for the Artifact that will save someone.
This is usually right up there at the top of my plot dislikes but the story she tells and the wonderful way she fleshes out the characters has caused me to give it a 5*
I will go on Amazon this weekend and see what else she has written.

I finished The Abortionist's Daughter by Beth McDonald. I enjoyed this book suspense novel. I felt if was predicable. I gave this book 4 stars.
