Today I started Fired Up by Jayne Ann Krentz and The Twelfth Child by Bette Lee Crosby

Today I'm starting True Sisters by Sandra Dallas.

I am now starting The Girl Who Stopped Swimming by Joshilyn Jackson.

Now that I am finished with the Vineart War trilogy I am moving on to The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires (Half Moon Hollow, Book 2) by Molly Harper .

Today I started Mrs. Mike by Benedict Freedman and Just Over the Mountain by Robyn Carr

Last night I started First, Best and Only by Barbara Delinsky.

I am now starting I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella.

I just started our July-August Book of the Month Across the Universe (Across the Universe, Book 1) by Beth Revis .

Today I started Close Your Eyes by Iris Johansen

I started Heartbroken by Lisa Unger.

After completing Across the Universe and The Serpent's Shadow, I started Shadow of Night (All Souls Trilogy, Book 2) by Deborah Harkness .

I was/ am reading Spell Bound by Kelley Armstrong . The wonky verbs are because I've started it and misplaced it in my errands today, hopefully it's not lost!

I just finished The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. It's an important, wonderful, funny, scary YA novel that I hope gets read by everyone!
This morning I finished Out of Wonder: Poems Celebrating Poets by Kwame Alexander. Happy Poetry Month!

Just started Herman Melville's Moby Dick... finally. I was waiting for the right mood for it and here we are, it came :-)

It is in my To Read list from a couple of years too. :-) I even started it but left it very soon. I will give it a try again, I am hearing/reading very good reviews about this book.

I'm currently reading Evergreen Tidings from the Baumgartners by Gretchen Anthony . I haven't gotten very far yet, but so far it's interesting enough. Violet Baumgartner is definitely giving me shades of Hyacinth Bucket from Keeping Up Appearances. If you find humor in the very pretentious, especially hearing what people around them really think, and especially when things fall apart around them (according to the synopsis this will happen and it will be spectacular), you'll probably like Evergreen Tidings. The main thing that has me on the edge of my seat right now is anticipating Violet finding out something about her daughter Cerise that literally everyone seems to know but her (LOL).

Also, as soon as it makes it to my local library branch, I'll be reading The Wicker King by K. Ancrum . It's the buddy read this week for another group I'm in. It's a short read, but involves some pretty heavy stuff, apparently. Trigger warnings galore. I'm personally not affected by much of anything so I'm excited to read it. I only wish I wasn't behind on the reading/discussion schedule because of shipping delays between branches. *grumble*
