I could use some help as in I know I need to do a blog tour, but don't know how to go about setting one up, so any tips, hints, suggestions, clubbing over the head until it sticks, is welcome.
The book is Tattered and is the 3rd book in the Misfit McCabe series - contemporary younger YA. And this is the link to my cover:

The problem I'm finding with sequels is that its best if the blogger has read the books before this one. Can this book stand alone, or do the bloggers need to have read the first two? How long is it? Is it middle grade or high school?
I'd start off with going through the positive reviews of the first two here on GR. Find the bloggers that have already reviewed your books and then ask them if they'd like to take part in a tour. Then after I compiled a list of 5-10 bloggers, I'd set up the tour.
If you already have a few bloggers in mind, message me and we'll set it up through the Chirenjenzie blog. Sound like a plan? :-D

I know EXACTLY what you mean! Trying to find that balance between informing new readers, and redundant info dumps is a craft within itself.
Alright, plan B. We start with the first book now. Is it YA or middle grade? I'm on lunch right now, but I'll message you when I get home and we'll see what we can come up with :-D

The series is YA, but on the young side of YA - MC is 14 and with some of the subject matter that comes up, would not like to try and market as MG, but it is definitely not older YA and not edgy or dark. It's a good old-fashioned tug-on-your-heartstrings family type saga.
And THANKS!!!
Also, feel free to ask! If someone has read your book, but hasn't reviewed it yet, here's the place to post a general reminder. If you need a few blogs for an upcoming tour, here's the place to ask.
Lets support one another!
