Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) | 525 comments I think it would be great to change the nomination methods for books to selecting books based around topics. So we don't end up selecting our books so late again I'd like to start gathering topics now. Any suggestions?

Connor Kinkade (connork) | 1324 comments The mods could have meetings on books to read. Then we could just decide on the next book when we're done. Or we could just have topics where people suggest books and we could read multiple books at a time.

Xdyj | 418 comments I think we can try reading multiple books at a time, preferable of different genres/topics/styles.

Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) | 525 comments I really like the last idea. I'm gone from the ninth till the 23rd this month but I think we should definitely do that as moderators we should set monthly topics and read multiple books at a time. That way if people don't like one book they can read another too.

Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) | 525 comments I've got an idea we could divide it into fantasy set in other worlds. Say like Lord of the Rings and Narnia sort of stuff (epic fantasy novels) and more contemporary in the modern world fantasy? Something like that?

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 1 comments Also by level of humor/seriousness of themes. Every now and then a funny space opera or parody/spoof thing what I'm in the mood for. Then other times the serious, not always high tech (as in society issues or world building would also count), themes usually coming from the good ol' "what if?" question.
