Since we have a few authors as members in the group, I thought it would be cool if in the next several months (plenty of time but not indefinite) to spotlight them, point out their books, what they're working on now, what they've been reading lately, etc. We can gather requests and questions from members as well.

What do you think?

That sounds great if some of the authors are up for that. I am also thinking we need a list of GSF authors so the members can check them out.

I think you'll find most authors game for just about anything :D

Ooh, Anne Tenino has just volunteered to be a spotlight author. Quick, nail it down before she changes her mind! :-) She is the author of the wonderful 18% Gray, and she has a new release at the end of May.

Anne do you want to have this in June so everyone can get a hold of your new book and read it first?

June would be perfect. :) I don't mind talking about the book to people who haven't read it, too, of course, but there will likely be some major spoilers.

I have an SF novel coming out in July ...

You guys are awesome. I've got Angel Martinez for April, Anne Tenino for late May/June, and perhaps Blaine for July (I will PM you). I will put up threads when the dates approach.

This should be fun! I can't wait to really read yours, Blaine. I read sections, and the synopsis, but I have it on my list of books to check out when it's released.
