Sorry but it doesn't really get any better if anything it just drags more, but that is just my opinion, i can hardly believe that the same author wrote the fantastic Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater Linger (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater Forever (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #3) by Maggie Stiefvater xxx

Ok i will give you three reasons why TID is oh so very special ;)-
1)The heroine is witty and NOT whiny (always a good thing)

2)It has two of the most amazing boys ever written in paranormal history- Will=Sexy, funny, book lover Jem=Beautiful, kind, musical (and yeah i know it's a love triangle and most people don't like them, but to be fair this love triangle i written rather well, i still haven't chosen who i like best)

3)The writing is a lot better, the pacing is good, and it doesn't ever really drag.

(ok side note-the covers are EPIC!) xxx Some people don't like it, some people even hate it but you find that with most books, it is better than the other series by Clare though in my opinion. ;)

The series really didn't pick up for me until the end of each book, which then persuaded me to, of course, go on with the next book.

As for Forever, I really enjoyed that book once I got into it.

Mara,

It's good. I don't know if you've read "Ranger's Apprentice" at all. "Brotherband Chronicles" is a sequel-series to that one, but so far there's nothing in the "Brotherband Chronicles" that you won't understand if you don't read "Ranger's Apprentice." Be prepared for quite a bit of technical descriptions.

message 127: by Kalee (new)

Kalee Stegehuis (stegosaurusreads) I'm currently reading A Spell for Chameleon by Piers Anthony. I don't think it would be classified as YA, but it certainly could be. It's a high fantasy novel, and I'm almost half way done. It's been an excellent read so far. I can't wait to get reading more. Has anyone else read it?

message 128: by [deleted user] (new)

Nope! GO MOCKINGJAY!!!! If we burn, you burn with us! Ranger's Apprentice is really good, just sorta for younger kids.
